To celebrate the union of the David Jones Flagship Store with Disney's Star Wars as a one-of-a-kind, inspirational retail destination experience, The Print Factory breathed life into the visual merchandising display. We understood the client's needs, then reverse engineered from the end product back to the project's beginnings. The project involved designing technical window drawings with everything built to size, including laser cut pieces, fabricating panels made-to-measure and tailored LED lighting to the display, with some pieces supplied by Disney. The client supplied a budget with a tight timeframe for production and installation. We came in under budget, taking 2 weeks for measuring windows, sampling and design, with everything fabricated and produced on-site. We capped this with 24 hours for install using our in-house team.
